I came across this backsplash idea after seeing some cool tile on Flickr
I just love the 2" x 6" bricks in the custom palette titled surf. I think this would look great in our kitchen. I can't believe there are no distributers in Southern California.

My wife and I got our masonry materials for our countertop from http://www.totalkitchenstore.com. One of the owners there, Jason, helped us out. He did a great job. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't get his hands on when it comes to tile and backsplash. If you still can't find it locally, try him.
These are great accent pieces, they draw attention and break up the monotony of an entire wall, but are not overbearing. I like the pattern or lack of pattern that you used. Looks great!
